4's company, 5's a crowd | Loch Marie, Scotland

Amid the rugged beauty of the Northern Scottish Highlands, a fleeting moment of light transformed the landscape. As storm clouds gathered in Behind Loch Marie, a break in the clouds behind me allowed the rising sun to illuminate a small cluster of trees, standing resilient against the elements. The movement of wind-swept reeds in the foreground adds a dynamic, almost painterly quality, creating a striking contrast between motion and stillness. Soon after this hand-held shot the storm in front of me passed overhead , rain coming down hard and I ran for the car!
