The Introvert | Portrait of a Poppy | Northumberland.
Standing at the edge of a commercial poppy field in the UK, I captured this shot, inspired by a stunning image of Cornwall’s wild poppy fields I had seen the week before. It served as a perfect reminder to visit this area, just as the vibrant blooms reached their peak. This macro photograph went on to be shortlisted in the 2022 British Photography Awards, a moment of recognition that made the experience even more special.
